Benjamin Motoc
Benjamin Motoc is a French designer and sculptor who graduated from the Design Academy in Eindhoven (NL).
In between Paris and Rotterdam, Benjamin Motoc activates concepts by exploring the potential of materials and craftmanship, creating a profound connection between the final design of his works and the production process. With a focus on organic shapes and a distinctive aesthetic, the creations activate the dialogue between traditional crafting knowledge and a contemporary, intuitive interpretation of design and sculpting.
Motoc’s work stimulates and celebrates the art of designing while making, as he engages in hands-on fundamental research to inspire and refine his sculpting skills. Through his exploration, he has developed alternative production techniques, resulting in a diverse body of works that include bronze, metal and resin.
